I Took a Metro on New Year's Eve

I took a metro on New Year’s eve to explore the Mantri Mall this time to spend my eve there and check out everything that the mall had to offer in terms of yearend sales or maybe the type of decoration and the vibe the mall had created. As I stepped in, the mall was very well lit up. It definitely lived up to my expectations! The mall looked fantabulous, very huge with lights all over and a humongous christmas tree at the center, around which there was some kind of competition for small kids. As I moved from place to place taking pictures, I noticed people with them wearing the best in class dress that they had. There were all kinds of people from children to couples to senior citizens all having that same positive vibe. There were people taking selfies all around, having fun. As I moved on to the food court I noticed many couples hanging out, enjoying the music being played the background. That is when I met Ujjwal and Deepika. Meet Ujjwal and Deepika – Ujjwal 29 year old and Deepika 28 year old. Surprisingly they had found time for themselves to spend in this busy city where everyone is struggling to survive. It is good sometimes to take out time and address our loved once. Make them feel good, make them feel special. Ujjwal works at an IT firm in Bangalore and Deepika works as a banker in Bangalore itself. Both of them had a holiday and had planned for a movie (KGF). As I was talking to them they were really friendly, we had some light moments as well. Ujjwal said after working for whole week in corporate he finally gets time to spend with Deepika on weekends and pretty much like everyone they were bored and not satisfied with their job. Ujjwal and deepika lived in a 2 BHK apartment at Indira Nagar, Bangalore with having a dog as their 3rd family member, and have named it as Mac. (Being an Apple enthusiast, I hated their choice). Deepika said they have been staying in this beautiful city for around 4 years after they graduated from college. I didn’t have much time to talk to them and get to know more about them as my mom was constantly giving me missed calls. I came back home and thought about my meeting with Deepika and Ujjwal and which made me feel why do they have to live such a life and which makes me wonder why do they not do what they like? Why do they do things which wont make them happy? Is money everything? We just have one life, we have got to make the most out of it. We all see dreams and just enjoy it until you wake up why not work for the dream that we see in the night and make it happen? The satisfaction that you get when you do things which people say that you can’t is just priceless. No matter if people don’t understand what you do or no matter people think that you are mad. But if YOU believe in your dream then people’s opinion shouldn’t really matter to you much. The only thing that makes you feel rich is the amount of experience you get the amount of exposure you get to the outside world and I feel I am lucky to meet such people who are gentle and kind, and share their part of the story with me and have that trust in me.
